1984 Sixth in the series by Tore Wallin. This is the first horizontally formatted image created for the Fiesta, a fitting format for this incredibly panoramic event, but a non-traditional approach for a poster. This print also marks the first time a "mixed media" approach was tried. In this case the central image is primarily an original plate-by-plate lithograph overlaid with silk-screen inks which also create the border and lettering. This complicated production, involving two printers working eight hundred miles apart, was used to capture the painterly richness of the image. Published as a limited-edition mixed media print in an artist-signed edition of 500 numbered prints plus an unsigned edition of 5,000 numbered prints. 29" x 16".
