1988 Tenth in the series by Rick Vaughn. Relying on ProCreation's signature cut paper technique not seen in this series since the 1979 poster, Vaughn creates a naive and colorfully simple image. Coyotes and cowboys had by this time become well-established symbols of Southwestern style. The artist distills their essence, avoiding cliche while graphically achieving a surprisingly sophisticated and balanced result. Published as a limited-edition serigraph in an artist-signed edition of 750 numbered prints plus an unsigned edition of 5,000 numbered prints. 20" x 30". Click on poster image for current value. |
